Welcome to Michelle Howarth's creepy corner of the web. Pull up a chair and help yourself to a fly.

Who is this lady?

In a nutshell, she’s a writer, editor, and all-around horror enthusiast.

Living in Northamptonshire UK, Michelle resides with her partner (and editor), two cats, and a hoard of exotic creepy crawlies - mainly snakes, spiders, scorpions and geckos (and one bearded dragon). Lost in the heart of the beautiful British countryside, she has a rather pleasant setting for the darkness she creates, priding herself on producing some of the most disturbing horror in the business. She has been published online, in print, and also featured in podcasts.

When she’s not writing, Michelle is avid collector of tarantulas, currently in possession of thirty plus beautiful specimens. You can visit them at her spider dedicated site: www.silkspinners.co.uk

She likes to haunt several writers' forums, where she goes under the sweet, rather deceiving name of Snowbug – but don’t let that fool you. Her mission there is to connect with writers and readers alike, and she pays particular attention to new writers, or anyone in need of a helping claw. She's always willing to offer constructive and helpful critique.

With what time she has left, she indulges her literary heroes – Richard Laymon, Brian Keene, James Herbert, Dean Koontz, Tim Lebbon, and Stephen Hall being but a few.

Want to know more?

Visit Michelle’s links for forums, places to submit, networking, and the doorway to Shock Totem magazine (where she served as Senior Editor and enjoyed every second of it), or check out her blog, where there’s bound to be something new going on. She's always glad to hear from readers and writers alike, feel free to drop her a line, and she will get back to you soon.
